You Are What You Digest


Morning Porridge

oat porridge

Serves 4

1 cup of steel cut oats (can replace with any other grain)
1 tsp ground anise
1 tsp ground fennel
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cardamom
1 tbsp ghee
3-4 cups of water

On a medium heat add ghee with the spices till the aromas of the spices come up. Mix in steel cut oats and then add water. Bring it to a boil then let it simmer for 20 minutes stirring stirring occasionally.

Serve with any of the following: nuts, shredded coconut, honey, and dates.
